The two factions serving as partners in the Palestinian Authority unity government are still carrying out their militia war, albeit more quietly in recent weeks.

Sunday morning, gunfire again broke out between the Fatah and Hamas terrorist organizations in Gaza. A senior officer in the Fatah-sponsored Al-Aksa Martyrs’ Brigades terrorist group, Baheh Abu-Jarad, was killed during the clash, having died of his wounds shortly after the battle.  A second Al-Aksa member was seriously wounded as well.
