Transporation Minister Shaul Mofaz opposes the idea of sending in IDF ground troops to retake Gaza as a means of ending the constant Kassam rocket attacks launched at western Negev communities.
Mofaz, a former Defense Minister, said such a plan would involve “unwanted danger,” according to Israel Radio. The possibility of a military incursion into Gaza has been raised by army officials in recent days to deal with the ceaseless rocket attacks. Three such missiles were fired at Israel in two separate attack by 10:00 a.m. Sunday.
