400 residents of the Gush Etzion area south of Jerusalem held a demonstration Friday morning, because of the deteriorating security situation there.

The demonstration began at Hirbet Alya, in the northern entrance to Efrat, where a 72 year old Jewish resident of Efrat was injured by rocks thrown at the vehicle she was in.

The woman is still under anesthesia and awaiting a jaw operation scheduled for Sunday.
