Guard Injures Arab in Dead Sea Hotel Brawl
A security guard at a Dead Sea hotel shot an Arab in the leg early Friday morning, after a scuffle developed between several Arab residents of eastern Jerusalem in the hotel's lobby. The security guards at Hotel Ganim were reportedly trying to push the fighting men out of the lobby when one of them pulled out a knife.
Fearing for his life, the guard shot the knife-wielding man in the leg, injuring him.
Police arrested both the injured man and the shooter and intend to carry out additional arrests.
