MK Shelly Yechimovich (Labor) said Thursday that “every woman has experienced sexual harassment at least once in her life.” In a conference in Eilat to discuss violence and sexual harassment in the workplace, Yechimovich said that every workplace has at least one serial harasser.



Yechimovich expressed satisfaction over the conviction of former Justice Minister Chaim Ramon, who was sentenced to community service for forcibly kissing a female soldier. The conviction was a “warning bell” to others, Yechimovich said. Yachimovich denied claims that she is criminalizing romance, saying that she herself lives “a permissive lifestyle.”
