Defense Minister Amir Peretz blamed military officials for his inability to properly assess and manage the Second Lebanon War last summer.
The Defense Minister told the Winograd Commission, “On July 12th I was not presented with a situation that the army had not trained enough or that there was any problem with the army’s preparedness.”
