Rival PA Terrorists, Police Join To Control Violence
Palestinian Authority (PA) terrorist and security groups have joined forces in an all-out attempt to crack down on spreading anarchy in the Gaza region. The re-organized security forces have deployed 3,000 policemen in Gaza City.
The new attempt by the PA to establish its authority includes the joining of Hamas and Fatah members, who have clashed with each other for more than a year, leaving more than 400 dead and hundreds more wounded.
Fatah leader Nabil Sha'ath said, "There is a full agreement. The determination is there and I think what we will see in the next 48 hours is a full deployment to deal with the lawlessness in the Gaza Strip."
The first phase in the new deployment focuses on traffic and criminal violations, and the next step is to include prevention of rocket attacks against Israel.
