A Maryland food co-op worker refused to serve a customer because a student wore a T-shirt proclaiming "I stand with Israel." Workers claimed they have the right to deny service to anyone they choose.

The University of Maryland Pro-Israel alliance said, "We can't allow this... to be an epidemic." The co-op said it will review its policy.
