      U.N. Beefs Up Security after Gaza Attack


      The United Nations has ordered extra security at its Gaza headquarters following an attack that killed one person and wounded seven others at a school operated by the international organization .

      U.N. security guards are inspecting the compound's roofs for terrorists and are reinforcing the entrance gate. Few foreigners remain in Gaza as anarchy threatens to overtake the Palestinian Authority (PA). Ibrahim Ibrach, a political scientist at Gaza's al-Azhar University, warned that "the collapse of the Palestinian Authority ... is at stake."
