Congressional Hearing on Rights of Jews in Arab Nations

(IsraelNN.com) An American Congressional subcommittee is to hold on Tuesday morning the first formal hearing on the plight of Jewish refugees from Arab countries. New York State Democrat Gary Ackerman is chairman of the subcommittee, which will hear delegations trying to encourage more co-sponsors for resolutions calling for United States recognition and support for the rights of Jewish refugees.

The hearings are being held under the title Two Sides of the Same Coin: Jewish and Palestinian Refugees. The Congressional Human Rights Caucus next month will convene a special hearing on the mass violations of human rights of Jews under Muslim regimes.
