Nasrallah: Bishara Not a Spy
The head of Hizbullah, Hassan Nasrallah, said Sunday that former MK Azmi Bishara did not spy for Hizbullah during the Second Lebanon War. Bishara has been accused of passing information to the terrorist group and of suggesting ways that Hizbullah could cause the greatest possible damage to Israel. Nasrallah accused Israel of fabricating the charges.
Nasrallah claimed that the United States had pushed Israel into last summer’s war, saying that the Winograd Commission has proof but is keeping it confidential. He also discussed kidnapped IDF soldiers Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser, saying that progress has been made towards their release.
