    Olmert Testimony Release Postponed

The publication of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s testimony to the Winograd Commission has been postponed until next week. The testimony was originally supposed to be released before Pesach (Passover), but the release has been repeatedly pushed off.

Commission members explained the latest delay on Sunday, saying that they have not yet finished reviewing Olmert’s testimony. Sources close to the commission said that the release of Olmert’s testimony will probably increase calls for him to resign.

Testimonies given by Defense Minister Amir Peretz and former IDF Chief of Staff will be released on Wednesday or Thursday.
