Sources close to former prime minister Ehud Barak said that he will not agree to be appointed a minister in Ehud Olmert's government, according to TV Channel 10.

Barak is a contender for leadership of the Labor Party in its upcoming primaries. His joining the Olmert government was floated as a possible way to save the government from demise.
