The past few years of economic growth have proven that prosperity is not dependent on peace. Likud chairman and former Prime Minister Binyamin (Bibi) Netanyahu told a business conference.

"There is a difference between peace and treaties," he added. "I have seen in the world that it is possible to achieve growth without peace and vice-versa.... Growth engines are the managers and entrepreneurs, not the government."
