Orthodox Christians Want to Change anti-Semitic Texts

A group of theologians from various Christian Orthodox sects has called for changes in liturgy they consider anti-Semitic, particularly in the texts relating to the Easter season.

The statement, reported by the Christian news agency Credo, was endorsed by Russian, Greek, Ukrainian and Georgian Orthodox Christian theologians.

According to the report, the recommendation came during a visit by 12 Orthodox theologians to Israel last month.
