Coalition head MK Avigdor Itzchaky warned Wednesday that if Prime Minister Ehud Olmert insists on staying in his position, it will be “party suicide” for Kadima. Kadima members “will breathe freely” if Olmert steps down, Itzchaky said.
Itzchaky said that Kadima should be allowed to form a new ruling coalition if Olmert leaves. He warned that if Olmert does not agree to leave, he will step down from his own position in protest.
