British singer Bryan Ferry has apologized for praising the Nazi regime. He told the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, "The Nazis knew how to put themselves in the limelight and present themselves." He also described Nazi parades and flags as "beautiful" and "just amazing."
The singer's studio is called the "Fuhrerbunker", a name for the underground rooms in Berlin where Adolf Hitler killed himself in 1945, the European Jewish Press stated.
He explained that he was praising the Nazi regime's creativity and not the regime itself. "I, like every right-minded individual, find the Nazi regime, and all it stood for, evil and abhorrent," he added.
