(IsraelNN.com) Shortly before Holocaust Memorial Day, flyers were distributed in Tel Aviv University calling for Israel to “strike the Arab-Nazi enemy.” The flyers accused local Arabs of participating in a campaign to destroy Israel. The flyer also contained examples of anti-Semitic cartoons that appeared in the Arab press.

The man who distributed the flyers, Oded Coral, said he stands by his statements. “The Arab anti-Semites plan to slaughter us,” he said. Coral said that the distribution of the flyers was not intentionally timed to coincide with Holocaust Memorial Day, and that he has been distributing them for months.

Some MKs and activists expressed outrage at Coral’s flyers. MK Mohammed Barakeh (Hadash) and MK Wasil Taha (Balad) accused Coral of racism, and called for him to be punished. Lawyer Alla Heidar has filed a complaint with Attorney General Menachem Mazuz, and requested that he investigate the matter.
