University students in the fifth day of a strike planned to hold classes at a major intersection in Haifa Sunday morning.

Similar protests are being held at other intersections across the country to protest a tuition hike and demand increased public funding of higher education. They also plan to set up a protest tent across from the Prime Minister’s Office.

The students vow to continue their protests until the Prime Minister’s Office agrees to talks with the Student Union.
