Syria is willing to renounce terror and cut its ties with the Hizbullah terrorist organization in Lebanon - if Israel will hand over the Golan Heights, captured by the IDF in the 1967 Six Day War.



Syrian-American businessman Ibrahim Suleiman, who has been involved in unofficial talks with Damascus, explained in testimony before the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Thursday, which concessions Syria was willing to make in a peace agreement with Israel.



Meretz Knesset Member Zahava Gal-On shared the information with reporters after the meeting.
