(IsraelNN.com) Montreal police announced Wednesday that an explosion heard on Tuesday night came from the detonation of a homemade bomb near a local Jewish community center. No one was injured in the attack, and only minor damage was caused.
The explosion came only two days before the three-year anniversary of another bombing, that of a local Jewish elementary school. Jewish leaders in Montreal said the latest attack was clearly a hate crime, although police have yet to release any official statement regarding the incident.
