Workers Protest Gov't Refusal To Allow Postal Rate Cuts

Postal workers are staging a limited strike to protest the refusal of the Communications and Finance ministries to allow a cut in postal rates. The new postal authority wants to reduce rates in order to be more competitive.



The partial strike will prevent payments of income taxes and bills due to the National Insurance Institute (Bituach Leumi).
