IDF soldiers arrested an Islamic Jihad terrorist on Saturday night. The terrorist was arrested in Jericho.

A general closure on Judea, Samaria, and Gaza has gone into effect. The closure will continue during the seven days of Pesach (Passover), and will be removed only after an official appraisal of the situation.

A closure is usually used during Jewish holidays, due to attempts by Arab terrorists to attack on holidays, most famously in the Park Hotel attack of 2002. That attack, which killed 30 and injured 140, 20 seriously, took place on the first night of Pesach.
