Crossing points into Palestinian Authority territories in Gaza, Judea and Samaria will be closed for the duration of the Passover holiday, beginning 12:01 a.m. Sunday.
In making the announcement, the IDF added that those PA Arabs in need of humanitarian aid, as well doctors, medical personnel, lawyers, nonprofit group members and additional professional groups will be allowed to enter with special authorization from District Coordination and Liaison offices.
Special accommodation will be made for Christian residents of Gaza, Judea and Samaria who wish to visit family members in the other areas of Israel during the Christian holidays. In addition, 1,000 PA workers will be permitted to enter northern Israel for the cucumber and almond harvest.
IDF security assessments will determine how and when the accommodations will be conducted.
