19-year-old Iyad Agbur of the Bedouin town of Rahat was indicted of two counts of rape on Friday. Both crimes were committed in the Jewish town of Arad.
Agbur’s first victim was a 17-year-old girl, who he and a friend attacked in the town’s market. The second victim, an 11-year-old girl, was attacked earlier this month while she was walking home from school. Agbur stole his second victim’s cellular telephone after the attack, which helped police in their efforts to locate him.
