Nadia Matar, co-founder of Women in Green calls the demonstration by former residents of Homesh and thousands of supporters a victory.
"This march is a big victory for the national camp and the Jewish People," said Matar. "We showed that we are very serious when we said we will return to all the destroyed communities. This is only the second attempt to restore Jewish presence in Homesh. We are prepared to continue trying as many times as is necessary to rebuild the town. We believe that eventually we will stay.
"Furthermore, the national camp has shown that they are not willing to be led any further in the struggle for the land of Israel by the Yesha Council that collaborates with the government. We will establish a leadership that is not corrupt."
Matar spent the night with activists in Homesh.
