Elisheva Federman, an activist and Hevron resident who was arrested on Thursday, has been released on her own recognizance. She was arrested after refusing to attend an earlier court session. The presiding judge, Chaim Liron, issued the arrest warrant.

The initial court session was called after Federman publicly stated that Arabs should not be citizens of Israel, but rather should be transferred to Arab countries.

Federman was arrested while taking her children to the doctor. The sick children were forced to wait at the police station for several hours until their father Noam could come and take them.
