Joint U.S.-Israel Anti-Nuke Military Exercises
The IAF Air Defense Artillery Brigade is participating in anti-nuclear military exercises with the U.S. Army Corps 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade this week.
The exercises are designed to upgrade skills required to defend against nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, specifically missiles equipped with warheads carrying the substances.
Israel will employ the Arrow and Patriot PAC-2 anti-missile defense system in the exercises. The U.S. forces will be using the Patriot PAC-3 and Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) systems.
