(IsraelNN.com) A group of families who lost loved ones in a terrorist attack one year ago agreed not to file a petition to the Supreme Court until they hear the results of an ongoing investigation. The families claimed that the attack, which took place in the “Shwarma Rosh HaIr” restaurant in Tel Aviv and killed 11, could have been prevented. An Arab prisoner, in jail for participation in terrorist activities, claims that he gave information to Prison Services workers that would have allowed them to stop the attack.

Minister of Internal Security Avi Dichter met with the families and told them that his ministry is investigating the claims. The families agreed to wait until the conclusion of the investigation before filing their petition, but warned that they would begin a court case if their questions were not answered within one week.
