Tel Aviv Post Office officials uncovered an attempt to smuggle rare animals out of Israel by mail Tuesday.

A man attempting to send packages labeled “clothing and games” was asked to open his packages in front of customs officials, who discovered the packages in fact contained rare live animals.

The man was handed over for investigation.
