A recent poll conducted among Israeli Jews showed a lack of trust in the country’s Arab minority. Jews were questioned regarding their perception of the approximately 1.37 million Arabs with Israeli citizenship. 68% said they fear an Israeli Arab uprising.

Over 80% of those surveyed worried that Arabs with Israeli citizenship support terrorist activities against Israel. 80% said that important national decisions regarding the borders and character of the state of Israel should be decided by Jewish voters only.
