Gaza Terrorists Target Internet Cafes, Pharmacies
Approximately 45 Internet cafes in the Gaza region have been bombed in the past three months. Palestinian Authority police, who are currently responsible for security in the area, say they have been unable to prevent the attacks due to the general chaos and lawlessness caused by fighting between the Hamas and Fatah terrorist groups.
A group calling itself “The Swords of Islamic Righteousness” has taken credit for the attacks. The group has also firebombed numerous pharmacies which it suspected of selling recreational drugs, and even bombed a car after the owner played his stereo loudly while driving.
The group explained the attacks by saying that the Internet was providing Muslim men with pornography, and keeping them away from their daily prayers. Group members have contacted cafe owners via email to explain their actions and to expound on the dangers of the Internet.
