Magen David Adom, Israel's primary emergency medical service, has raised the level of alert nationwide to level B, which is the second highest, because of Purim.

MDA says this means a doubling of the number ambulances and of the crews on duty in the MDA stations, and an increase in the number of additional ambulances on call at volunteers' homes.
