Limited progress has been made in negotiations for the release of kidnapped IDF corporal Gilad Shalit, according to security sources.

Talks between Egyptian and Israeli officials have begun to sketch out the structure of a prisoner swap, according to a report on Channel 2 News.

However, no deals have been closed and officials warn that Shalit’s release will not likely take place any time soon.
