Naamah Cohen of Hebron was walking near the Beit Hadassah building on Saturday when she was attacked by an Arab woman. The woman snuck up to Cohen and began beating her. The assailant then ran away. A foreign man known to Hebron residents as an extremely pro-Arab anarchist pushed Cohen back to allow the woman to escape.
According to local sources, police officers arriving at the scene tried to convince the anarchist to file a complaint against Cohen. Only after officers who understood the situation intervened did police begin to search for the attacker instead.
