Rabbi Avrohom Blumenkrantz passed away Thursday. His funeral will be held Friday morning 9:30 a.m. EST in New York, at 827 Cornaga Ave in Far Rockaway, Queens.
Rabbi Blumenkrantz was the world-renowned author of the annual Pesach Guide which described, in minute detail, which items on the market are kosher for Passover and which ones are not. The guide also included a very large section on Pesach laws and customs.
His death has evoked expressions of great grief in the hareidi-religious world, and has come as a shock to many.
