The head of military intelligence research told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Monday that Hizbullah has returned to its pre-war capability. Brigadier General Yossi Beiditz echoed comments by Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah three days ago that his terrorist guerillas have smuggled rockets into Lebanon.

"We are bringing weapons to the front, but subversively. The secret of our strength is that Israel does not know where the rocket launchers are located," Nasrallah said.

The government has maintained that Israel scored a strategic victory over Hizbullah last summer by leaving the United Nations Interim Force (UNIFIL) to patrol southern Lebanon.
