(IsraelNN.com) US President George Bush is expected to ask Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas not to join in a unity government with Hamas until Hamas agrees to the three conditions of the quartet.



They are expected to meet on Wednesday.



US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice stated on Wednesday that the agreement between Fatah and Hamas does not meet these conditions.



According to the quartet the Palestinian Authority government must recognize Israel, renounce terrorism, and honor past agreements.
