(IsraelNN.com) The Italian Foreign Minister has told a daily newspaper that the Hizbullah and Hamas groups are not solely terrorist organizations but are social and political groups. Massimo d'Alema made the comments in the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
He compared the groups, which have been outlawed by the United States government as terrorist organizations, with the Irish Republican Army (IRA) which "became [a] political movement after being a terrorist group."
