Families of Captive Soldiers to Meet Party Leaders

(IsraelNN.com) (IsraelNN.com) The families of captive soldiers Gilad Shalit, Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev are scheduled to meet with leaders of political parties in the Knesset. The meeting was arranged following a request from Regev’s parents to NRP leader MK Zevulun Orlev.
The families wish to clearly state their position before lawmakers, hoping to drive home the point that any ceasefire agreement accepted by the government must include the release of the three soldiers.
Orlev concurred, adding it is fitting for the Knesset to release a clear policy statement on the matter ahead of any ceasefire agreement.
