(IsraelNN.com) Israel, Egypt and Morocco signed an agreement at an agricultural fair this week to develop the date market. The project will include crop planning and will consider preferences of consumers.

The Mediterranean countries are the world's largest growers of dates according to HaDekalim Date Growers Association manager Davidi Marom.
