(IsraelNN.com) The Remedia vegetarian baby formula is coming back to Israel after a scandal in which three infants died and many more suffered brain damage. The formula was pulled off the shelves two and a half years ago.

Raw materials for the formula, no longer imported from the Humana factory in Germany after the debacle, are now coming into the country from “Farly” in England. The final product will be manufactured in Israel, according to the Haaretz daily's financial publication The Marker.

The decision to re-launch the product has been made by new owner Yuval Levi and will be called New Remedia.
