(IsraelNN.com) Supreme Court Justice Edmond Levi said Sunday that the chant "Death to Arabs", commonly heard at soccer games, is a “dangerous” expression of racism.

The opinion came as part of a ruling in which he rejected an appeal by a Betar Jerusalem soccer fan who was convicted of incitement during a game at Teddy Stadium in the capital, four years ago.

Shmuel Tahan was sentenced to pay NIS 1,000 to an organization promoting Jewish-Arab co-existence and to carry out 250 hours of community service.
