Yisrael Medad
I am a resident of Shiloh, with my wife and children, and now grandchildren, since 1981, having come on Aliyah in 1970. I have served in a volunteer capacity as a Yesha Council spokesperson, twice a member of Amana's secretariat, Benjamin Regional Council plenum member and mayor of Shiloh. I was a parliamentary aide for Geula Cohen and two other MKs, an advisor to a Minister, vice-chairman and executive director of Israel's Media Watch and was Information and Content Resource coordinator for the Begin Heritage Center. I am now Deputy Editor of the critical edition in anthology of Jabotinsky's writing in English.

This is getting a bit abusive.

Israel maintains the status quo on the Temple Mount - to the detriment of the Jews.

Israel was willing to place cameras that would assist oversighting any violent acts in the compound but Jordan backed away under pressure from Islamist extremists like Raad Salah and his Islamic Movement-North.

Israel agees to 100s of Jordanian-paid Waqf guards that harrass and lend tacit support to provocations by Muslims and those Wicked Witches of the Waqf.

And all the while, Jordan lambasts Israel.

Yesterday, again:

Jordan on Sunday warned of serious consequences to Israeli settlers and police storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram al-Sharif today. State Minister for Media Affairs, Muhammad Al-Momani, said in a statement to the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the Israeli violations against worshipers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque/ Al-Haram al-Sharif are a violation of international laws and conventions, warning that such practices would lead to dangerous consequences.

The minister, who is also Government Spokesman, demanded Israeli occupation authorities to immediately stop such moves, deny entry to settlers and Israeli forces into the yards of the holy shrine and allow Palestinian worshipers to enter the mosque.

I repeat: why doesn't Israel call Jordan's bluff a bit?

Why not remind the country and its King and all his family and friends that both countries are signed on a treaty of peace that includes Article 9, which reads:

Each party will provide freedom of access to places of religious and historical significance.
In this regard, in accordance with the Washington Declaration, Israel respects the present special role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Muslim Holy shrines in Jerusalem. When negotiations on the permanent status will take place, Israel will give high priority to the Jordanian historic role in these shrines.
The Parties will act together to promote interfaith relations among the three monotheistic religions, with the aim of working towards religious understanding, moral commitment, freedom of religious worship, and tolerance and peace.

as well as

The Parties will seek to foster mutual understanding and tolerance based on shared historic values, and accordingly undertake:

to abstain from hostile or discriminatory propaganda against each other, and to take all possible legal and administrative measures to prevent the dissemination of such propaganda by any organisation or individual present in the territory of either Party;

Why does our government and the ministers allow us to be browbeaten?  Humiliated? Portrayed maliciously and perversely?

Why does Israel not raise a voice of admonition?

A little tsk-tsk would be appreciated.

Mr. Netanyahu, if no ability to click the roof of your mouth, can you straighten our national backbone?
