Hamas' Use of Human Shields

What is so hard for the world to understand that if you can strap a Bomb Belt around a six year old child (as Hamas has done repeatedly) and send him into a crowded Mall that you can send a mortar shell right smack into the middle of a United Nations School housing women and children?

The Prime Minister said it best when he said that "we're using missile defense to protect our civilians and they're using their civilians to protect their missiles." Hamas has no compunction whatsoever of sacrificing its own for World and Media Sympathy. The world has not yet figured it all out and the Media should know better but is so biased that it would rather put out an unsubstantiated story than wait to find out all the facts. Christine Amanpour of CNN is the Media's Israel bashing attack dog.

She loves to grab a story as she did with the UN School Bombing that at first blush appears to make Israel look bad but in point of fact may actually be Hamas' doing. She never even mentioned that it was possible that this was the case. She did not care. Will she apologize when all the facts are in? Hardly likely.

Will CNN ever admit to all of its errors in reporting? No. Does anyone hold the Media accountable for its blatant bias? Why didn't the Media think it important enough to mention the statement made by the United Nations itself that says in essence that Hamas uses their schools against Israel. Ron Dermer, Israel's Ambassador to the USA did a great job of hammering away at this point. To quote the United Nations directly, "UNRWA strongly condemns the group or groups responsible for placing weapons in one of its installations".

This statement was made after the UNRWA found 20 rockets in one of its schools which were then turned over to the "local police force". The "local police force" is likely to be aligned with Hamas since Hamas controls Gaza. The United Nations has a lot of explaining to do but the Media bears the ultimate responsibility of reporting the facts.

The Media has to understand that by presenting biased stories, misleading photos, and outright lies they are prolonging the conflict and causing people to die.
