Zalmi Unsdorfer
A Religious Zionist who advocates for Israel as a writer, TV & panel commentator. Chair of Likud-UK, he supports Jewish resettlement in all of the Jewish homeland, Eretz Israel. He regularly tweets @zalmiu...

He bears no arms and goes into battle with no helmet or body armor.

Yet he comes out fighting for our Jewish state under intense rocket attack in a week during which it buried 28 brave soldiers, prayed for over 100 more wounded and saw its commercial air traffic brought to a standstill.

A champion of human rights and campaigner against atrocities in Darfur, Zimbabwe, Iran and Russia he has infiltrated the inner sanctum of tyrants and human rights abusers which goes by the oxymoron UNHRC: the United Nations Human Rights Council.

He boldly states his case for Israel and the moral war it is fighting to protect its citizens against an enemy no other army has ever faced before. An enemy that uses schools and hospitals as rocket silos and kids in place of Kevlar.

One by one they tried to cut him down.

First Egypt and so-called ‘Palestine’.

Then Iran, Algeria, Venezuela, Syria, Sudan and finally the repressive Cuba.

All tried to silence the truth that exposes their own egregious travesties of human rights and lays bare their total hypocrisy.

But this man, all on his own, he persists.

He gets his message out.

Just as he did over the Goldstone report when presenting British forces commander Richard Kemp to this same chamber.

Kemp defended the IDF as doing “more to safeguard the rights of civilians in a combat zone than any other army in the history of warfare”.

My hero of the week is Hillel Neuer, founder of 'UN Watch' an NGO based in Geneva.

Watch this young man in action and be proud.
