The Target Should Be Iran

By Dr. Joseph Frager

After having returned from a whirlwind Tour of Israel with Governor Mike Huckabee, it is more evident than ever that Israel's response to the three kidnapped Yeshiva Students should be even more drastic than we have seen thus far. After all, it is Iran that is the head of the snake in control of Hamas.

Cut the head off and Hamas is severely weakened. Hamas gets its marching orders from Iran. This summer is the summer of all summers when it comes to the Iran Timetable. The failed so-called Interim Agreement ends in July. That means that unless a Final Agreement with Iran is worked out, and all indications are that it is unlikely, then the military option is back on the Table.

Since the kidnapping of three innocent teenagers has united the Jewish Nation like never before, I believe the time is right for Israel to strike Iran's Nuclear reactors. There is still a small window of opportunity to prevent a Nuclear Weapon being made by Iran if if happens soon. Time is of the essence. No nation should have to endure what Israel has had to put up with. A belligerent and fanatic Hamas that just entered into a so-called Unity Pact with Abbas, used the kidnapping as its first move against the State of Israel.

This was a deliberate and well thought out terrorist Action based upon the results from the Gilad Shalit Abduction which also happened right after Abbas and Hamas signed a Unity Pact the first time. No condemnation from Abbas can right the wrong that Hamas has perpetrated. It just means that Abbas does not control Hamas. Hamas controls Abbas is more the correct analysis. Abbas should have immediately broken ties to Hamas.

That has not happened. Naftali Fraenkel, Eyal Yifrah, and Gil-Ad Shaer  (G-d willing they will be freed unharmed) should be the rallying cry to finally take care of a festering wound that is Iran/Hamas. They deserve at least that much from all of us. Enough nice talk and State Dinners. It is high time to bring the world back from the brink and fashion a more stable World Order.
