How evil?  How evil can a society be that uses its children as human shields?  Where is the outcry of the oh-so-moral United Nations and Human Rights groups?  Of course, our cries of justice fall on deaf ears, and I do not even waste the time writing to these Jew-Hating and G-d hating organizations.  However, it is still good to combat pictures with pictures.

I was watching Al-Jazeera this morning on the television and have to admit, that the photos of the dead bodies near the UN. school were quite ghastly. (No showing the actual video the IDF took of them shooting mortar shells from that building they had civilians in.) I noticed how they repeat showing the footage of their dead over and over again, to drill into viewer's minds how horrible Israel is.

Well, I can't fight fire with fire, becasue Israel does not usually allow photos of people's dead bodies to be exposed on TV as the Arabs thrive on doing with their own.  But I CAN show you some of the things that the world does NOT see, and that is how these Arab Muslims treat their own civilians; men, women and children.

People say they care so much about these poor Arab children who are just innocent pawns.  We see these photos:

The Muslims are not ashamed to publicize that they raise and use Children to fight for them.

And from FOX news: "A new textbook is teaching Palestinian kids to hate Israel and think of fighting Israelis as a holy Islamic duty..."

These Arabs teach their children to murder, and to desire death.  Where are the human rights groups?

Why don't the mainstream media news networks show these photos and videos over and over again?  It's a great news story and can make a novice reporter a brand name.  ...Or get him fired.  ...Or get his head chopped off -- maybe even by a child!

I am posting a few different things pertaining to the war in Gaza. This blog post will be more of a mish-mash, but interesting things you should know none the less.

1) An email was caught by The Jewish Internet Defense Force (JIDF)   

It seems that those nasty and angry anti-Jewish – oops, I mean, anti-Israel demonstrators are not content with stepping and burning the Israeli flag at their demonstrations and yelling to the Jews, "Go back to the ovens!".  Now they are planning a new strategy:

"No more demos. No more signs, chants, pithy t shirts. No more marches to nowhere.

And DEFINITELY no more emails to Congress, or heart-felt messages to Change.Gov and Obama, begging the conspirators to stop the conspiracy.

We each one of us is responsible - and we each one of us must take action. We cannot rely on Others to do it for us….

I have strongly suggested to many different so-called action groups, that we immediately institute a program of visits to every synagogue in the USA, on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, and rise in each congregation and - in dignified firm and unemotional voices - repeat "STOP THE KILLING"– We need to go in groups of 3-4, to insure that we have 1 person as a defensive shield, and one as a video camera witness, recording everything….

The Jews of America must be confronted with their clear responsibility- far more than complicity-in the mass murders, occupation, and forced starvation of the people of Palestine."

2) Attackers crashed a burning car into the gates of a French synagogue Monday night while a lecture was underway inside. A second vehicle, apparently used to push the flaming car into the synagogue, was found to hold several petrol bombs.  This can happen at any synagogue around the world.

3) Though we here in Israel may be in a war and facing challenging times ahead, it will be nothing compared to what Jews will face outside of Israel where they have very few Jewish doctors and lawyers who own or even know how to use a gun and protect their family.  Remember the riots in Crown Heights several years ago?  The police didn't want to go in and stop the rioters.  And Yanky Rosenbaum got murdered.  It took more than two days for the cops to finally deem it 'calm enough' (after the pillaging and plunder and murder) to go in and make a police presence. In Israel, most homes have guns, and we know how to use them.  

4) I am concerned that the prophesy telling about a 9 month occupation of Israel by a foreign entity may be coming true soon. (Gemara Yuma says: The wicked kingdom of Romi (USA) will extend on Israel for 9 months)  The Gaza war is a perfect 'opening' to have our leaders tell us that we must invite in foreign troops (UN, NATO, etc? ) into the Israel Gaza areas to 'keep the peace'.  Yah, like that really worked in southern Lebanon.  We have had UN Peace keeping forces there since the end of the 2nd Lebanon war to keep the peace and make sure no more weapons would reach the Hezbollah.  However, what happened was that the Hezbollah was able to totally restock their missiles and weapons and build up even more than what they had before the 2nd Lebanon war. – All under the nose of the UN Peace Keeping troops there. 

Hello? We have our own army, the IDF, or has our government and the world forgotten? But nevermind, Bush wants his Road Map implemented and a Palestinian State to be established in the belly of Israel ASAP.  Bringing in foreign troops will speed up the process.  But will there be payback to the United States and the International Community for trying to wrest G-d's Land from the Jewish people? Read Ezekila Chapter 38 and decide for yourself.

Oh but that the Jews had guns to protect themselves in Europe during World War II.
Oh but that the Jews had guns to protect themselves from Arab pogroms against us in Israel in the 1920's.
Oh but that the Jews had guns when we fought the British and then the Arabs in our war of Independence in 1948. 
My father is a holocaust survivor.  After having his father murdered by the Nazis and being a slave laborer, when he was finally liberated, he tried to make his way to the Land of Israel after WWII.  After working his way and crossing borders till he got to Italy, he was able to get aboard an illegal ship that was sailing and bringing holocaust survivors to Israel. He sailed with the hope of finally coming home. Just as they were able to see the port of Haifa ahead of them, the British surrounded and boarded the ship, forcing them to Cyprus.  They rounded up all the Jewish refugees and imprisoned them in a DP camp (Displaced Person's camp).  After months, he finally was able to get into the land of Israel.  Soon after, he was a soldier fighting for the liberation of Israel in the 1948 War of Independence. 
I will never forget one of the stories he told me, of when a shipment of guns used in WWII  arrived in Israel for our fighters. The guns were packed in wooden crates and were packed in grease, to keep the guns from rusting.

My father told us that he and his buddies were cleaning the grease off the guns, and while they were cleaning them of the grease, they saw that these rifles had swastikas on them.  They were rifles used by the Germans (purchased after the war, from Czechoslovakia).  I was aghast when I heard that.  I don't remember the exact wording but this was the gist: I said to him earnestly and with all the sensitivity I could, "How did you feel, Dad, being a holocaust survivor and knowing you were holding guns that were used to kill Jews?"  I was waiting for a deep and profound answer.  I was expecting him to say that he shook when he saw the swastikas and was unable to handle the guns, thinking what those rifles had done."  Instead he answered me and said incredulously, "What?  We were thrilled.  We didn't care about swastikas, shmastikas.  We were just happy to HAVE GUNS!"

And so, it is with great relief and gratitude to Hashem, G-d, that today we Jews in the Land of Israel and can defend ourselves.  I do NOT want to talk about politics today.  I want to just thank G-d for all the wonderful blessings he has bestowed upon us.  For two thousand years we have had to wander the globe, begging for mercy from the nations we had settled in or were forced to go to.  We had no one we could go to for justice, and kings and czars could transfer us, steal from us, pogrom us, and kill us, and we had no recourse to justice.

Pg. 188  (After the Holocaust) "In the 1950's it was still very unusual to fly to Israel, so he traveled by ship.  The ship docked in Naples, and Rabbi Jacob got off to stroll on the pier.  He saw a war ship and walked up to it, amazed to see that it flew the flag of Israel.  At the end of the gangplank was a sailor.  The sailor had a gun in his hand.  For Rabbi Jacob, coming from the Holocaust, it seemed as if he were looking at the angel Gabriel.  This was the first time he had ever seen a Jew with a gun.  He went over and asked the sailor, "Where are you from?" 
"Hungary"
So he asked in Hungarian, "Can i go up on the boat?"
"You cannot."
Rabbi Jacob noticed a Hungarian coin hanging around the sailor's neck.  "Where did you get that coin?"
"Nine or ten years ago I was in Szeged and there was a rabbi and a little kid, and the rabbi gave it to me."
Rabbi Jacob started to shake.  "I want you to know, that rabbi is my father, and I am that little kid."

The sailor looked at Rabbi Jacob, and then he kissed and hugged him.  Rabbi Jacob could not speak.  Two "defenseless" Jewish children, at the mercy of the seemingly invincible nations, survived through miracles and meet again to embrace.  Such are the wondrous ways of G-d.  Such is the eternal story of the Children of Israel.  The sailor said, "I am going to speak to the captain and get permission for you to go on the ship."  He started walking up the gangplank.  Rabbi Jacob called him back.  "I have a second thought.  I have experienced enough today to satisfy me forever.  I want you to know that it's the first time in my life I ever heard a Jew say no.  In the camps, even before the war, every time a German or a Hungarian spoke to us, we had to say, 'Yes, master.'  It's the first time I ever saw a Jew with a gun, and he said no.  That's enough for me.  I don't need to go on the boat."

In this violent world we live in, where we still have millions of enemies who want to kill us, it is a wonderful thing to see Jews with guns.  Enjoy the video and please pray for our almost one million civilians under rocket and missile fire and our sons, our brothers, our fathers who make up the IDF and are fighting the evil enemies in Gaza.

Long live 'disproportional response' against evil!

Israel is being castigated all over the media for using disproportional response.  There is much to be said about knocking hard and devastating blows against one's enemy. Israel has been absorbing deadly attacks from these Arab terrorists, whether they be the Hamas or Mahmood Abbas' PLO, for over 7 years.   First of all, if israel HAD used proportional response, we would have been bombing them each time they bombed our towns.  We would have aimed for their civilians as they purposely aimed to kill ours. But no, we have not been using proportional response against the Arab terrorists.  We have instead been following a policy of restraint.  Only now with the Arab's onslaught and increased bombing of our population centers, has our government been forced to go in, fight back and attempt to neutralize these attacks .  The immense pressure from the population was too much for Barak, Olmert and Livni to avoid reacting to, in order not to mess up their quest for establishing a PLO state here, as per the plans of the International Community, including U.S. President George Bush through his 'Road Map'.

No doubt, the Israeli government finally got the green light to defend itself,  from the White House. Perhaps they felt they could let off the pressure in Israel without having to take responsibility or flak from their Arab oil buisness partners.  Bush is on his way out of the White house so would receive little blame for the Gaza operation, and Obama is not yet in the White House, so he cannot really be blamed either.  Thus, Israel gets a green light to defend itself without too much risk for them.

As for the media and nations around the world fuming over the wide difference in the death toll in this war, what does that say?  That they want to see more dead Jews?  I can never fathom how those in the West can want to see a Moslem PLO state be formed in the belly of Israel.  These western nations even fund these terrorists, -  the same terrorists who hate the West, burn the American flag, and threaten the European countries who host them.  These same Arabs they want to give a state to, believe the Americans are the 'Big Satan' and profess to launch a Jihad on these 'Sunday People', the Christians, after they finish off the 'Saturday People', the Jews. Go figure? 
Tit for tat doesn't work when one wants an end to a war.

And so the Jews, being the canary in the coal mine, must lead the way and defeat these Arabs who swear to our elimination.  And the only way to win a war, is to use disproportionate force.  If the Arabs could, you could be sure they would use disproportional force against us.  They've practiced disproportional force without shame when they grouped up against us, 3, 4, 5 Arab countries at a time to defeat the one tiny Israel as in the 1948, 1956, and 1967 wars.  Where was the voice and outrage of the International Community then?  When these terrorists aim for and target our civilians, our schools, our playgrounds, and our synagogues, is that not disproportional?  Israel tries to fight a clean war, aiming only for the terrorists, not the civilians.  If Arab civilians get in the way of these attacks, it is because the terrorists use them as human shields.  The terrorists purposely set up their missiles next to their mosques.  The Arabs purposely attack from or take refuge in their own hospitals and children's schools, and then yell bloody murder when Israel is forced to target these places they are attacking us from.

Israel has not used proportional response against those who are attacking her. The opposite. If Israel used proportional response, we'd be bombing and blowing up their busses, their cafes and their holiday celebrations.  If we used proportional response, we'd be aiming at their civilian populations like they do ours, and shooting missiles and rockets aimed at their homes, not offices and weapon caches like we do. 

Those calling for Israel to use proportional response undoubtedly want to see Israel continue to bleed.  Those who wish to see a more' tit for tat' response want to see this conflict continue.  Tit for tat doesn't work when one wants an end to a war that has been launched against its civilians. I've never seen a battle plan that calls for a 'tit for tat' response. The only way to win a war, the only way to prevent as many causalities (on both sides) is to put an end to one's enemy's capabilities to harm you.  The only way to put an end to the war is to use massive disproportional force.  Crush the enemy like the allies did in WWII.  Bring them to their knees so they will sue for peace as in WWII.  Make them so sorry for their attacks against us, make them pay a price so steep, that they not only beg for surrender, but beg us to take back our kidnapped soldier, Gilad Shalit whom they are still holding hostage.  "Please, take back your soldier, Gilad.  Here, take him, just please, stop your offensive against us.  We can't absorb any more blows, we surrender!"  That's the only thing we should be hearing from the terrorists.

Long live disproportional response!  And don't apologize for it. It's the only way to win a war.

A gory news story came out about what really took place at the Nariman House in Mumbai, India. Rabbi Holtzberg and his wife were sexually humiliated, were forced to strip naked, and had their genitals mutilated.  The only reports released to the public after the massacre that let us know what happened to the Jews in the Nariman House were that of a Mumbai doctor with the police, who came on the scene and remarked to the press, "Of all the bodies, the Israeli victims bore the maximum torture marks.". That's all we were told.  However, according to the Mumbai Mirror, we find out (only this last week) that this holy rabbi and his wife were sexually mutilated.  You can see the VERY DISTURBING photo of the bodies (not that of the Rabbi and his wife, but other victims at a Mumbai hotel) (that was emailed to me by a listener of mine) at Pam Geller's 'Atlas Shrugs' blog. I tip my hat to Pam for exposing this atrocity committed and letting us know what the Mumbai Mirror reported. 

The question asked is, why was this report of the real murder scene kept hidden from public knowledge?  I have discussed this on my show a few times, but I would like to re-emphasize here on this blog by giving you an example.

The governments which control populations don't WANT us to know.  They know, that if we know what really happens at these terror attacks, we citizens in 'democratic' countries would be so enraged, so incensed, that we, the people, would go to our respective Knesset, White House, or whatever nation's parliament who was attacked and shake their gates down in rage and DEMAND that action be taken.  But what happens in reality? In Israel, and probably many other countries, people hear on the news about the latest terror attacks, they sit glued to the TV and make worried phone calls back and forth, "Did you hear about the attack?.... "

In Israel, it goes something like this: "Son, are you ok?  Were you near the scene?  When will you be home?  Thanks G-d you're alright." And after making all the calls to our loved ones we believed could have been in the area of the attack, and after viewing film on the news at the scene which has been carefully censored, we turn off the TV and say,  "tsk tsk" with our tongues and go about our day.  After all, when we see the censored 'parev' film footage on TV news (wherever we are in the world) what were we allowed to actually see?  We only see the coverage of people being wheeled on stretchers into ambulances.  No blood, or very little of it, is shown on the news.  Instead, the wounded that ARE shown, are lying on gurneys with their arms flailing.  They have a pained look on their face with their hands on their head.  It looks like they have a migraine headache.  So why should people who see these bland scenes get incensed and demand the obliteration of the enemies attacking us?  After all, what we are allowed to see just looks like a lot of peoople who got scared and are at worst suffering from shock. In Israel, the very next day, shattered store fronts at terror scenes are hurredly repaired and the blood is cleaned away.

When the radio is turned on after an attack, soft, sad, music is played to 'drug' the population and put them in a somber mood. However, what a healthier government would play on the radio is WAR music.  Music to display our outrage at these murderous attacks against our wives and children, to motivate us to want to join up to our IDF units and go in and crush the enemy who are murdering our people.  Let us remember that Sderot and Ashkelon and Netivot are NOT under attack.  ISRAEL IS UNDER ATTACK!!!!!!. They are attacking Israel.   They are trying to hit every spot of Israel they can reach.

What is the Defense Minister's answer?  To drop some bombs on some targets in Gaza, on Shabbat (the Sabbath).  Here's the problem: "Defense Minister Ehud Barak convened a news conference in which he said that the operation has three goals: "to hit Hamas hard,..."    Will this stop the Kasam rockets and Grad-missiles being launched against us?  No.  A nation that wants to stop the attacks against it doesn't just 'hit hard'.  It has to DESTROY the enemy launching the attacks.  If it doesn't, if it just hits hard, the enemy will eventually recover from the shock and renew it's murderous war over and over again.  Israel's leaders report that we can expect an even heavier attacks on Israel in the coming days.  They add that 200 rockets and missiles slammed into Israel today.  200!!!!  One missile bored straight into a house in Netivot, a town in southern Israel, east of Sderot.  "The victim, 58 yer old Beber Vaknin, was killed when he went outside his house, which was hit by a rocket earlier Saturday."

The problem here is that the attack today on the Hamas was like swatting at a bee.  You're just going to rile him up while he still has his stinger.  Our own news reports say this operation will not stop attacks. 

What has to be done is that this war that has been launched against Israeli citizens has to be WON by us.  We have to neutralize the enemy who is attacking us, once and for all.  Two weeks ago, there was a demonstration in Gaza where most of the Hamas leadership was, including the thousands that actively support them.  Perhaps this demonstration should have been hit?  We could have cut off the head of the snake when we had them all gathered together.

"Jews! We have already dug your graves," declared Hamas official Mushir al-Masri at a rally of support for Hamas in Gaza’s central square. "Gaza will become a graveyard for [IDF] soldiers.”

When I was speaking to my mother on the phone and telling her Israel could have attacked the Hamas leaders and their supporters at that demo, she commented,  "You may be right. We're going to get flack anyway for today's attack. It wouldn't matter if we killed 2 or 20,000 it would be all the same to the world's media."

I hung up and then watched the news with my family tonight, they showed a press conference with PM Olmert, Foreign Minister Tzippi Livni and Defense Minister Ehud Barak sitting at a table and saying that they don't wish harm to Arab citizens in Gaza and will continue to make sure that food and supplies will keep flowing to them through our borders.  I remarked, "Yah, like the Allied forces would worry to make sure the Nazis in Germany had food supplies?  How sick to worry about a population that elected Hamas murderers to lead them."  My 12 year old son seemed to agree that it was ludicrous to feed our enemies who are still holding kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit and launching missiles against us.  He looked at our leaders blah-blah-blah-ing about how they are trying to be so magnanimous to our enemies and he looked at me and stated,  "I wish someone would throw a shoe at them".
