An Open Letter to Senator George Mitchell
To the Honorable Senator George Mitchell, Representative of the President of the United States of America, Mr. Barack Hussein Obama,
Welcome to Eretz Yisrael and to the State of Israel!
Below: George Mitchell at press conference for Obama
As you are well aware, our country – the State of Israel – is the sole democracy in the Middle East. In the elections that are scheduled to take place in another 12 days, our nation will express its desire – as well as its duty – to insure the sovereignty of the people of Israel and her state over the entire Land of Israel. It is to this land that we return after an exile of 2,000 years, and it is this land that we redeem by possessing it, building it, and protecting it. It is an eternal inheritance for the eternal people; it was bequeathed to our people by the Holy One, blessed be He.
This inheritance has also been recognized by international law, beginning with the San-Remo conference on April 25, 1920, and followed by the Mandate of the League of Nations on July 24, 1922. In all probability you will not hear this truth mentioned during your meetings with members of our current government, thus we publicly bring these matters to your attention.
Perhaps your intention – now, or at some other time – is to convince us that peace in the Middle East and the cessation of evil and terror in your country and worldwide will come about only as a result of taking away parts of our land, cleansing these areas of Jews, and transferring these areas to our enemies (as was done in 1938 at the Munich conference with Czechoslovakia and the Sudetenland). In that case, when you return to your country tell President Obama: Foisting borders of Auschwitz on the Land of Israel will bring neither life nor peace… neither for Israel, nor for America, and we will not return to that experiment again.
We have had our fill of all the attempts to trick us into accepting these “Auschwitz Borders” for the State of Israel, and we will not be fooled again. We know perfectly well what hides behind slogans like: “Palestinian State” in western Eretz Yisrael, “Right of Return for 1948 Refugees” or any “freeze” on “natural growth,” i.e., restrictions placed on the birth of Jewish children in “settlements” and the housing needs of their families. We will not fall into these traps.
However if you will stand by our side – indeed, perhaps by leading efforts to advance regional peace talks – efforts by which the Arabs of Eretz Yisrael can be reestablished in the places of their origins – through this, you will advance the cause of world peace by giant steps. For it is only a peace that will be based on justice, truth and the ethical values of Israel’s Bible and the words of her prophets, that will have the strength to stand. Not only this: Only such a peace will bring about prospertity for all humanity.
The ultimate test of justice and truth in our time will be determined here in the Land of Israel, through the return of the Jewish people to Zion, through the building of the land by the nation of Israel and by the exercise of her national sovereignty over the entire land.

The East wants to kill us, and the West wants us to commit suicide.
Well, Obama is now President of the United States, Mitchell is sent here to 'fix' the Middle East, and no doubt, another peace plan will be brought before the Israeli public to give up even more land, and it will once again be touted as THE answer to FINALLY bring peace to the region. Yawn. Below is an article I wrote back in 2007- with some added changes. I think it is very apt for what we are about to see bombarding us again in the news and on our television screens in the near future. Stay tuned.
After reading below, I think you will see how little anything has changed. The East wants to kill us, and the West wants us to commit suicide. Either way, they want us dead.
A corpse is a corpse. Oslo is dead. The formula of 'land for peace' is dead.
I used to be a news editor and broadcaster. I know a lot of the tricks the media uses to emphasize what they want to and still claim to be honest when reporting the news. The way in which one writes the news can be very subjective, while not seeming so to the public. A listener has to be very savvy to recognize the ways in which a news piece can be used in order to sway their thinking.
Anti-Israel media corporations will broadcast their news with lines such as: "Israeli occupation soldiers shot at a Gazan hospital killing two Palestinians...." Let's examine this one line.
First, the term "occupation soldiers" is subjective and makes the listener already assume that Israel is deserving of any violence that happens, because they shouldn't be there. Second, the news broadcast omitted important and vital facts of the story, such as why the Israeli soldiers were shooting at the Gazan hospital. Perhaps they were forced to do so because the terrorists were shooting from there in the first place? Ah, yes, but those facts are not in the interest of the broadcaster's or station's political agenda.
Then there is the news story saying that Israeli soldiers killed two Arabs "near" a Jewish community. What they omit saying is that the two Arabs were trying to sneak into the Jewish community on a terror murder spree, and that weapons and ammunition were found on their bodies.
When reading the news, a broadcaster's emphasis here or a pause there can change the facts in a listener's head.
When I worked in broadcast news, it almost gave me ulcers, especially the day after a terror attack. One would think that the day that an attack happens is the worst, as the body counts get higher and higher throughout the day. But even when the number of dead go higher and higher, it's not as emotionally caustic -as the next day. It is the following day when those 'numbers' become people. They had names and lives. They had husbands, wives, children, and parents. That's when the immensity and pain really sears into one's heart (if a journalist still has one). The 'following' day is when we see the funerals. To hear the relatives screaming, hear the children crying for their mommy that they will never have to kiss and hold them again. To hear the story of their lives at jobs, at home, to hear how they helped others and how they will be missed. And that does not include the injured who will never be the same again. Yes, those were the hardest days. The world's promises of peace turned into a nightmare.
The Israeli elections are coming up now, along with the new U.S. Administration who again is promising to interfere in Israel's affairs. Another peace plan will be issued that will bleed Israel even more. It brings an evil deja vu of those days, where the media will be used to build a golden dream made of wishful thinking, folly and falsehoods and passed off as a great event.
Remember the Olmert-Abbas 2007 peace plan, with the planned signing of yet another "peace" agreement between the PLO and Israel? It was built up to be the new Messiah. They claimed we will have a new opportunity for peace, because Yasser Arafat is dead and now we have his successor, Mahmoud Abbas. But really, nothing has changed. Abbas is the man who earned his PhD by writing a dissertation denying the Holocaust. He has a long history of terror involvement, one aspect of which was finding the funds and helping to plan the mass murder of 11 of our young Israeli athletes in the 1972 Olympics in Munich Germany. Since Arafat's death it has really only been a change from Terrorist A to Terrorist B.
The PLO has never changed its charter calling for the destruction of Israel and it still has the whole State of Israel on their "map of Palestine." They still teach hatred of Jews and perpetrate acts of terror against us. The promises they make in English are quickly explained away in Arabic to their populations. Their signatures on documents, handshakes and smiles, photo shoots and all the other pomp are just cosmetics. It's like taking a corpse, applying some beige make up base on his face, rouge on his cheeks, red lipstick on his cold lips and then proclaiming, "Look how healthy he looks!"
This "peace plan" and the next, and the next, and the next is just another dead Oslo. The media, however, will again work in tandem with the International community making the next Mitchell peace-plan into the news event of the year. Obama will ride in on a donkey and peace will reign in the world. But pushing the same dead 'land for peace' formula on Israel is a futile quest for peace. There's no military solution they tell us? Oh, really? Well, the Hamas seems to think there is. The Hezbollah seems to think there is. Even America thinks there is! Look at their war in Afghanistan and Iraq. In fact, every war in this world was solved by a military solution. It is only when the Jews can finally win militarily, that all of a sudden, there is no military solution.
For anyone who wants to know what will bring peace to this region and the world, see the article I wrote called, "The Isaiah Plan".
I will stick my neck out and make a prediction here. I believe that the next attempt by the world to implement their peace plan here will be with foreign troops. Already there is talk again to divide and internationalize our capital, Jerusalem. Of course this will be done cosmetically and touted as the best thing since chocolate and peanut butter. They'll disguise this invasion as something positive -and can't you just hear Obama saying something like: "Ah, we are bringing in peace keeping troops to ah, ensure that all peoples can feel safe."
They may begin with bringing troops to the south of the country. And Obama would continue, "In the name of peace and security, we want to ah, make sure that there is no smuggling of weapons from Egypt into Gaza, -for Israel's security. We ah, also believe that this moving in of International peace-keeping troops will also give the Arabs in Gaza a feeling of security from Israeli attacks on the Hamas. We ah, believe that this move ah, will benefit all parties and bring peace and security ah, to all."
Well, we've seen how well peace keeping troops have worked in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah is now even stronger than it was before the 2nd Lebanon War, all under the noses of these U.N. peace keeping troops that were brought in to ensure peace.
People should be asking, how can it be that our leaders of today would voluntarily give up our sovereignty after all we have experienced? Wasn't one of the reasons for making the modern State of Israel to never have to rely on others for our safety and protection? How can we willfully let the world bring in troops to guarantee our security? Where is our pride as a nation, our independence we fought so hard for? Has it all gone and died? Will the corpse of Oslo come back to destroy us? Oh, no, we will dress up the corpse and paint a friendly smile on it and slap it with another name and bring it back to life.
The Oslo Corpse (photo not real)
The media will broadcast the news of this latest "peace initiative" as our savior and only hope to live, while the Oslo Corpse stalks the streets of our cities and skies killing our people and sucking the life-blood of the nation.
A corpse is still a corpse. Oslo is dead. Let's keep it that way, and remember: The East wants to kill us, and the West wants us to commit suicide. There IS a military solution to evil as we know from WWII, by crushing the enemy, transferring their populations back home, and then re-educating. "The Isaiah Plan" is a good basis to work from. It teaches us to mete out justice to evil doers, punishing them, not rewarding them for their terror. Our great prophet, Isaiah told us this in 32:17: "The product of righteousness shall bring peace; and the effect of righteousness, quiet and security forever."
Apparently the words of Shema Yisrael ("Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord is One." Is more powerful than the Moslems reciting that we Jews are the off spring of 'apes and pigs' and "Kill the Jews!"
While the Arabs are spewing their 'hate speech' filled prayers, Jewish soldiers have on their lips the Shema Yisrael. Which is more powerful? Which has accompanied the Jewish people throughout the centuries? Which words were on the lips of King David and his armies when they went to battle? Which prayer was on the lips of Jews who defeated the Arabs in countless attempts to annihilate us?
The Shema is considered the most important prayer there is in Judaism. It is on our lips every morning after we wake up and every night when we go to sleep. It has taken us through miraculous victories and brought us through unimaginable horrors. But we survived the strongest efforts of nations to make us extinct. Our faith in G-d and His promises, have brought us to the impossible, a Jewish State, after 2,000 years of wandering the globe in exile.
The fact that we can exist in such a hostile neighborhood, the fact that they these Arab Muslim regimes are more numerous and together more powerful than us, shows us that, -as Gilboa, an Israeli acquaintance of mine says- their god, listens to our prayers. Allah is a Zionist.
See the difference between our soldiers and theirs. See the difference between their heroes and ours. (Thanks to my brother who sent this to me.)
When Balaam, the non-Jewish prophet came to curse the Jewish People for King Balak of Moab, even he could not utter evil on the Jews. Instead what came out from his lips was: "How goodly are your tents O Jacob, your dwelling places, O Israel". Numbers 24:5 The region of Moab today, settled by Musilm Arabs, continue to try to destroy us but they cannot succeed though they try and try, ...because Allah is a Zionist.
Jihad Watch reports that charges are being brought against Geert Wilders for making a film about Muslim violence and intolerance, called FITNA. They are calling the movie, 'hate speech'.
The Dutch court, apparently after relentless pressure from Muslim groups, are to prosecute Wilders. So much for the right of 'free speech'. But Islamic rulers and countries mostly do not tolerate freedom of speech, or women's rights, or human rights, or children's rights, or religious freedom, etc...
Wilders showed actual photos of what Muslim groups have done to their own people, as well as other violent and intolerant acts against others. His desire to show the truth of what is happening in Europe and around the world today may land him in a Dutch prison. Wilders is in the Dutch parliament. If he can be locked up for making a 16 minute video like this, what will the average citizen have to face who doesn't have fame and protekzia going for him?
I interviewed Geert Wildrs a few weeks ago on my show. He has been to Israel more times than I have, and loves it here. He even lived here on a kibbutz when he was younger and has Jews in his family. He is a friend of Israel.
Watch the video yourself, and tell me if you think this man, a Dutch parliamentarian who wants to keep his country free from Islamic violence and influence, should be put away. What will be next? Who will be next on the alter in the name of 'political correctness' which trampled good ol' 'free speech' ?
What world are we leaving our children when Muslims can hold signs saying they are going to kill us, yet the person who exposes these acts, is the one to be prosecuted for hate crimes?

It is mind boggling to see such a rift between a Government and its People.
It amazes me, the audacity that our leaders have, that can state that we achieved our goals, with a straight face.
Our leaders have called for a unilateral cease fire. What the heck is a unilateral cease fire? I've never heard of anything so absurd before. Only our leaders, from Mars, could come up with that one. And only our leaders from Mars, could say, without blushing, that we have achieved our goals when the Hamas is still in power, still launching rockets against us, firing at our soldiers, and Gilad Shalit is still being held captive. What did we achieve other than killing some Hamas-nikim, but not the heads of the snake. What did we achieve other than destroying some Arab buildings and tunnels? The poisonous Hamas snake is still alive and it's venomous fangs are still intact. It amazes me, the audacity that our leaders have, that can state that we achieved our goals, with a straight face.
The people here are all upset, frustrated, and know there will be a repeat of this situation because we did not finish destroying 'the problem'. They are angry that we are not allowed to complete the job of crushing the enemy so they will never be able to launch another missile at our population centers again. Our army is made up of mostly reservists who have left their jobs and families, to come down and kick tuchus. Bush, Olmert, Obama and Barak have stopped them.
However, saying all this, let's be pragmatic. We knew this operation would have to come to an end before Tuesday. Bush didn't want to leave office with a war broiling in the Middle East and under his watch, and Obama doesn't want Israel and Gaza stealing the news headlines when the media should be focused on his inauguration! Add to that, the fact that Israel is not allowed to win, in order to keep us under the world's thumb.
And THAT, my friends, is the truth, short and sweet. There's a wide rift between the People and Government. They are from Mars, we are from Venus.
One of my favorite sayings is from the movie called, "'V' for Vendetta". In the movie, 'V' states, "People shouldn't be afraid of their Governments. Governments should be afraid of their People." Maybe it's about time that all of us around the world who are being used as puppets, internalized that philosophy, and demanded that our governments really represent us, the People, and let us finish the job we need to do.
