The land of Israel was given by HaShem to the Jewish people. Our people saw the greatness of a Jewish monarchy and Holy Temple in Jerusalem. Our fathers were marched off in chains into exile by the Romans and the Assyrians. Over two thousand years in as strangers in other lands, the Jewish people never gave up the hope to return to our land. With God's great mercy, we have returned, not to ever leave it again.

The Arab neighbors of Israel refused to accept the UN resolution borders in 1947. As of result of an all-out Arab attack on Israel in 1948, the then new state took control of more land in the Jerusalem area, the Negev and Galilee. The 1967 replay was no less shocking; again, an all out Arab attack on Israel, aiming for the total destruction of the Jewish state and transfer of the Jews into the sea. This time, a miracle occurred and we liberated the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, all of the west side of the Jordan river, the Golan and Sinai.

Finally, after losing war after war, the smart Arabs came up with a much easier way of bringing an end to the Zionist dream. This new strategy is called "Peace". The great Arab leaders who couldn't win a war against Israel now all stand in line to accept Jewish land in return for a signature and an empty handshake.

For over two decades, this "peace by piece" process has been going on, the Israeli government has been giving our national land (and other gifts, including guns) to all of our enemies. Arab terrorism has not in any way come to a standstill, but, on the contrary, it is more deadly and horrific in its scope. Yet still, we hear voices demanding that we give them more. What has happened to the leadership of the Jewish people? Have we become a battered people, who, like a battered wife, believe the assault will stop, but it just never ends?

Yasser Arafat was saved by Israel again and again. Ten years ago, he was all washed up, bankrupt and the outcast of the Arab world. In comes Israel and rebuilds him as a Palestinian national leader. Shimon Peres and the like collect funds for him from around the world; funds that have mainly lined Arafat?s own pocket and paid (and continue to pay) for terrorist attacks. But we still don't learn. We see Yossi Beilin, with the new Geneva Accords, negotiating with no authority at all.

Yet, the Geneva Accords are just a cover to allow the real culprit, Ariel Sharon, to give away 80% of what Beilin offered and have the Jews see Sharon as saving the nation from the dangerous follies of Beilin. In truth, the real danger to Israel is the weak right-wing leaders, who have proven that their obsession for power by far overcomes any national loyalty that they might have held in the past.

Sharon, who has said over the last year that he regrets not finishing off Arafat in Beirut 20 years ago, declines the opportunity to do so today. Sharon has also said that he regrets his part in the forcible expulsion of Jews and the destruction of the Jewish city of Yamit in Sinai. Yet, again he has ordered the same of kind of destruction and expulsion for Jews in Yehuda, Shomron and Gaza.

At the last minute, the Moetzet Yesha (Council of Jewish Communities of Judea, Samaria and Gaza) settlement leaders come out with a new plan to save the day. Their plan is only a bit better than the Sharon plan, which is just a bit better than the Beilin plan. So, if all of that is no good, then what is?

It is time that we Jews stop apologizing for our existence and standup proud and say the truth: The land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people; it was given to us by God. Arabs who terrorize us deserve no compromise; they must be stomped out. We have an army, we should us it. Any Arab who is not loyal to the State of Israel cannot dwell in our land. Enough trying to appease the goyim. They will respect us more when they see that we stand up for what is rightfully ours.
