"Love your neighbor as yourself," has justifiably been deemed the central pillar of Torah.

But what does it mean, and how are we expected to achieve and appropriately express this love of another,
not to mention loving our own selves?

The great sages, Rabbi Akiva and Shimon ben Zoma both have enlightening words to say about it, and their individual viewpoints, when combined, shed great light on the secret of performing this most elevated of commandments.
